★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En 1929, a las 9 p.m., la fotógrafa italiana Tina Modotti y el activista comunista cubano Julio Antonio Mella, venían caminando hacia Balderas sobre Morelos. Giraron hacia la izquierda en Abraham González cuando dos detonaciones hirieron al cubano Mella. Logró cruzar la calle, corrió y murió en la cera de enfrente. Justamente adelante de la casa número 19.
 In 1929, at 9 p.m., Italian photographer Tina Modotti and Cuban communist activist Julio Antonio Mella, were walking towards Balderas on Morelos. They turned left on Abraham González when two detonations wounded Cuban Mella. He managed to cross the street, ran and died in the wax opposite. Just ahead of house number 19.
