S	Stephen Penney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very professional and relaxing massage. We are staying at Sunset Plaza and walked down to Essence. Took about 10 mins. Well worth it. Very clean inside and the prices are super cheap. We got a couples massage and it cost $400 MX pesos each for 90 mins. We will come back again before our vacation is over.

She dug her elbow into my thighs which was great to break up the stiffness. Though she Didn't ask what kind of massage I wanted or any issues or focus I desired. Did ask if the pressure was ok. Overall I felt like she rushed and hesitant to really dig in. Her massage was good but having been to other professional locations near by there in my opinion better options for the same/similar price. In regards to the location there were multiple when idling around in street clothes on the furniture and outside the door. They were there before I arrived and after I left. Not sure who is actually working there.

Elva was my masseur, and she was incredible. For 75 minutes she gave me a deep tissue massage that was equal or better than I've had at more expensive, hotel spas. The price was so much cheaper than those other fancier places. What you don't get is the artificial zen atmosphere, water features, quasi-spiritual pictures and statuary. Only a curtain separates one area from another, but it is very clean. I felt invigorated and relaxed. This is a place that deserves repeat visits. They do 60,75 and 90 minutes. The price increases slightly by amount of time, but not by type of massage. All the masseurs have been vaccinated against COVID-19, another big plus.

I'd like to give a higher review but when it came time to pay I used US dollars and there was a conversion issue. Their charge is currently 300 pesos, which is $14.35 us. I told them $15 and was planning a generous tip. But they insisted that if I wanted to pay in dollars it would be $20.00

I asked for a stronger massage 4 times, each time she would increase the pressure and then 5 minutes later it was back to a light oil rubbing session.

Very good pressure throughout the massage on lower back, spine, hip neck and legs using both arms and fingers. Good communication on where to concentrate the message on. Highly recommend her.
