★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hace muchos años este paso era estratégico para los ferrocarriles que corrían al estado de Oaxaca este sitio era el taller donde se le daba mantenimiento emergente a las locomotoras que por alguna incidencia de última hora lo requerían para continuar su marcha a la capital del estado en sus tiempos hubo mucha gente que vivía por esos lugares pues el ferrocarril trajo el progreso a esos lugares estaciones como tomellin y cuicatlan estaban unidas por estas líneas férreas las cuales eran pueblos que estaban vivos por el ferrocarril más sin embargo con nuestros malos gobernantes y la mala administración ferroviaria se decidió darle fin a Los ferrocarriles de pasajeros en aquella década de los noventa por lo cual con la muerte de los ferrocarriles nacionales de México todos estos pueblitos que estaban comunicados por el ferrocarril fueron muriendo poco a poco incluso algunos quedaron deshabitados es una lastima que hoy en día sea un recuerdo de viejas glorias y mudos testigos que existió en el pasado algo así!!
