★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La estación de ferrocarril de Otumba es un ejemplo de conservación y esfuerzo por rescatar estos interesantes sitios. Fue construida en 1906 sobre la línea México-Veracruz del antiguo Ferrocarril Mexicano, por la Compañía Imperial Mexicana del Camino de Hierro, empresa que obtuvo el terreno en cesión el 24 de marzo de 1866. Al igual que otras estaciones ferroviarias, en la de Otumba se llevaron a cabo encuentros armados durante la Revolución Mexicana.
Actualmente es administrada por una asociación civil. Otra palomita a nuestra lista de estaciones.
Otumba railway station is an example of conservation and effort to rescue these interesting sites. It was built in 1906 on the Mexico-Veracruz line of the old Mexican Railroad, by the Imperial Mexican Company of the Camino de Hierro, a company that obtained the land in assignment on March 24, 1866. Like other railway stations, in Otumba armed meetings were held during the Mexican Revolution.
It is currently managed by a civil association. Another popcorn to our list of stations.
