It is an iconic community in the Northwest of the state: landscapes, houses, architecture, people and above all the impulse given by the unique pottery produced by its inhabitants, rescuing Paquimeite pottery in an incredible way.
The station is in very good condition, but you can also walk through its streets, talk to the people who invite you to their homes so you can see the pottery they make, apart from the gallery that is located on the main street.
Seeing some of their houses that have been restored or decorated with a very interesting personal touch, make visiting Mata Ortiz a completely enjoyable experience for those who want to take the time to walk through the old towns that are part of the history of Chihuahua.
