★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un lugar muy escondido en la Laguna de Chacahuita (ojo, no es el Parque Nacional Lagunas de Chacahua, pero sí es una parte de la laguna). Valeria y Gerson han puesto mucho esmero en crear un lugar acogedor y cerca de la naturaleza, ellos harán todo por que la pases bien y en calma. Tienes frente a ti la naturaleza: árboles, pájaros, cangrejos, la laguna y muchos mosquitos (lleven MUCHO repelente, porque en verdad hay muchos mosquitos).
Tienen espacio para acampae, baños y regaderas, juegos de mesa, una cocina donde te preparan de comer y el acceso a la laguna por si quieres meterte a nadar. Muy recomendado hacer el viaje en lancha a la playa virgen que está cerca de ahí. La vista está increíble y la playa es hermosa.
Si buscan un lugar para alejarse de la urbanidad, este es el mejor. En la noche se ven las estrellas increíbles y los sonidos del mar, la naturaleza y la laguna.
It is a very hidden place in the Chacahuita Lagoon (be careful, it is not the Lagunas de Chacahua National Park, but it is a part of the lagoon). Valeria and Gerson have put a lot of care in creating a cozy place close to nature, they will do everything for you to have a good time and calm. You have nature in front of you: trees, birds, crabs, the lagoon and many mosquitoes (bring A LOT of repellent, because there are really many mosquitoes).
They have space for camping, bathrooms and showers, board games, a kitchen where they prepare you to eat and access to the lagoon in case you want to go swimming. Highly recommended to do the boat trip to the virgin beach that is near there. The view is incredible and the beach is beautiful.
If you are looking for a place to get away from urbanity, this is the best. At night you can see the incredible stars and the sounds of the sea, nature and the lagoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Chacahua (from Mazunte) on a rented motorcycle on the New Year’s day. We came upon Estacion Lanta by chance and met Jesus and his family. The place was under construction but Jesus took us on a boat ride along the laguna to the beach. It was a spectacular ride, very tranquil and great for bird watching. We came back and ate a delicious lunch prepared by Jesus’ family. I highly recommend visiting Estacion Lanta and doing the boat trip with Jesus. We did not see restaurants in Chacahua, so recommend bringing a picnic with you if you prefer.
