★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I happen to live in San Carlos and have been to the estuary many times. Beautiful and serene are the operative words. It is a "birders" paradise as there are a plethora of indiginous and migrating birds there. The scenery is breathtaking. Kayaks are available to rent enabling you to investigate thoroughly. Across the street there are mountain bike trails to hike and the view from the hills is priceless. A definate must for the nature lovers those looking for a little "Zen" time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful mangrove estuary, tons of birds, rays and fish in the cristal clear water! We just stopped to check it out after seeing the sign on the road, but they just happened to be having a guided one hour kayak tour, $180 pesos, singles and tandems available.
