★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A one stylist (Marin), one assistant shop. While she's more accustomed to long Latina hair, I've come to her 3x now and gotten a good cut each time. I have very fine hair that I wear super-short. The cut has been a little different each time, but I have chosen not to give directions-- I just trust her to do a good job after my first cut because I was pleased she recognized that I had 'remolinas' (cowlicks) and knew how to handle them. The assistant does pedis and manis (mine was okay). There are probably other services-- just ask. I gave 4 stars because the shop is tiny and pretty spare-- nothing fancy or luxurious, just basics (but the prices reflect this!). But I love listening to the chit-chat and gossiping with her mother who sometimes is there hanging out. This is my place!
