Estrella de Mar - 70902 Zipolite

It's a beautiful hotel right on the beach, Tino and his team has made us feel at home during our stay.

Excellent place to stay as well as the service!, the only two things I don't like it where: 1. no pool, 2. people can party all night in the hotel bar that is located in front of all the rooms disturbing the guests.

The rooms were wonderful, but unfortunately I think it's quite overrated. We paid 1500 Mex for a night, no restaurant or breakfast and there is no refrigerator in the room . They only accept cash payments and since all the ATMs were broken in town, we had to drive 20 min with the car to find a bank.

The hotel is exactly as we saw it on the Internet. It is just in front of the beach, some restaurants near by although a little bit far away from the main street in Zipolite (15 minutes by feet). The room was great, we really enjoyed the little balcony with an amazing view of the beach. The place is very clean and quiet and everything works perfectly. The staff is friendly and always willing to help you at any time. There is no internet in some rooms and there is no hot water (you actually don't need hot water). As a recommendation we would advice to the hotel to get a bar since you can't get anything to drink or eat in the hotel. We are very happy to have picked this place and we really recommend it!

The place is nice and clean, right next to the beach. My room had a gorgeous view from the balcony. However, the room had only a roof fan and I really missed an A/C. I was here for work rather than vacation, so I would have appreciated a few more commodities, a working restaurant, or a coffee shop nearby, but I was out of luck.

We had a great desire to give 5 because of the great hotel and rooms right on the beach..but the lack of hot water, internet (does not work) and TV ..is impossible!

Soulless. Didn’t even have drinking water in the establishment. Asked for some to the staff and they refused to give us any!!!! Checked out the next day. Overpriced, poor service and basic facilities

Loved this place. The rooms are gigantic and peaceful, nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of sea waves. Is conveniently located away from the loud bars but within easy walkable reach to the town’s center and right next to Playa del Amor. On top of that, the owner goes the extra mile to help all guests and looks out for everyone and their needs. Lovely family business with great friendly staff. Highly recommended
