Estrellita's Bed & Breakfast - 45920 Ajijic

Great stay !. I needed a hotel for 2 days and stayed for 8. Louie , Amanda , and Staff offered and provided me with the assistance I needed for my stay there. The rooms , lobby, and gardens are meticulously maintained and provided me for a very relaxing and comfortable stay . Location is great , located next door to the Lake Chapala Society . Breakfast was excellent . Very comfortable stay . I highly recommend it !

Nice little B & B in the heart of Ajijic. Street parking close by, pet friendly and walking distance to the promenade along the lake. Good breakfast including eggs toast and fruit salad.

We had a great experience. The staff is super friendly and very accomodating. Beautiful place, great location and a fantastic breakfast. Will stay here every time in Ajijic!:)

If you are traveling to Ajijic Mexico you can’t do better than Estrellitas BnB. First off Louis, the owner’s son made certain that my travel was as easy as possible and my stay was comfortable. He arranged for a pick up from the airport, stopped at a reasonable ATM for pesos, and even drove me to a store where I could pick up groceries for my weeks stay. I have never, I mean never had such attentive care when traveling. I found my room #1 to be comfortable and perfect to accommodate working remotely. The internet was strong enough to zoom and the light filtered in to make it airy and bright. I even had an outside garden patio. Breakfast is served family style and if you want to connect with other travelers it’s a great way to meet people. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate personal preferences. The location is perfect! Located a block off the Malecon and Lake Chapala, you are close for an early morning walk but far enough to avoid the weekend crowd. I also liked being next to the Lake Chapala society which opens its doors for terrific afternoon live music, food, and beverages at a reasonable price. Ajijic is the ideal spot to explore this quirky and loveable town. Make your way here to Estrellitas!!

My dog and I had a wonderful stay at Estrellita’s Bed & Breakfast. Pros: dog-friendly and a perfect location, next to the center, lake, and main street for shopping and dining; the outdoor terrace attached to my room; the really comfortable mattress and super fluffy bath towels; sky-high internet speed and dedicated workspace, (we're talking 80-95 mbps, which is better than I’ve seen in some U.S. cities); hot breakfast was included and so delicious; a filtered water jug in the room (it's small, but a huge help to not have to run to the store on the daily to buy water); and the attached coffee shop (El Gato Feo) has amazing organic specialty coffee. For people not staying at the inn, the coffee shop is open to the public for wifi, and the customer service was excellent. I will absolutely stay with them again.

We had a lovely visit at Estrellita’s recently. We spent three nights in Room 4. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we required. The historic property is beautiful - a gem in the heart of Ajijic. The staff was friendly and very responsive. Thank you to Louis, Amanda, and Lorraine (as well as all the support staff,) for making us feel so welcome. Breakfast is included in the reservation, and it was delicious. A hot breakfast that changed daily, fresh fruit, yogurt, yummy pastries, juices and delicious coffee helped start the day off right. Located next to the Lake Chapala Society, it’s within walking distance of the Malecon, the charming Ajijic Centro, the carretera, and many sweet little bars and restaurants. If you’re looking for a place to start your visit to the lovely Lake Chapala area, don’t hesitate to book your stay at Estrellita’s.

I stayed there for a week in Sept. 2010. Lovely place, good beds, quiet, nice breakfast, Lorraine is a great hostess. The place is secure, easy walking everywhere. Highly recommended.

I was a guest for two weeks. The folks and the food were great. The internet was great. The response from management for any issue was immediate. It was clean and comfy and I met the greatest folks at breakfast. Yes, it is not a five star hotel but a five star hotel can be boring and isolated, this is a change to meet and greet and enjoy.
