DO NOT RENT HERE!!! AVOID! THIS COMPANY/EMPLOYEES WILL ROB YOU AND TAKE MONEY OUT OF YOUR CREDIT CARD AND NOT EVEN SEND AN INVOICE. I rented a car, got full coverage insurance, and charged me an extra $600 USD 2 weeks after i had turned the car in and didn’t even send an invoice or try to contact me. After I tried contacting them they said because there was a rock chip on the windshield BUT WHAT IS FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE FOR THEN???! These people and company are not trustworthy. Please stay away. Esta compañía te rob al igual que los trabajadores. NO SON DE CONFIAR y les mienten. Y si “tanto lo lamentan por no haber dado una buena experiencia” como le dicen a todos los que ponen reviews entonces MÁNDENME MI INVOICE.

Car broke down, called roadside assistance (which I paid extra for), they said they would be there in an hour and bring a replacement car. After an hour and a half with no response or assistance, I called again, they said a half hour more and gave me a number to send What'sApp messages to (supposedly of the person coming)- messaged them and they gave me another number to message, and that person gave me a third! No one spoke English. Took them over four hours to arrive- one person with a jumper pack- even though the issue was a radiator leak- and no replacement car. Then 2 more hours waiting for the guy who arrived (who kept disappearing. Leaving me alone on the side of a pitch black road in rural Veracruz) to call a tow truck- and another for the truck to get there. Finally we get back to the Veracruz office, where I'm told I'll get a new car (I paid triple the base rate for full coverage, roadside assistance, zero deductible and glass and tire protection). BY THIS POINT IT HAD BEEN ALMOST 7 HOURS SINCE I FIRST CALLED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE (I WAS UNDER AN HOUR FROM VERACRUZ WHEN I CALLED), AND EVERYONE HAD TOLD ME I WOULD BE RECIEVING A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE. THEY SAID I HAD BREACHED THEIR CONTRACT AND THAT THEY COULD ONLY CALL ME A CAB!!! HOW HAD I BREACHED IT: *BECAUSE WHEN I HAD PULLED OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD (INTO A GRAVEL AREA) AFTER BREAKING DOWN, THEY SAID I HAD "GONE OFFROAD" WITH THE CAR.* They finally gave me a new car, but required I paid an additional 25,000peso (~$1,600US on top of the 8,000peso deposit I already had paid (for a 10 year old car not even worth that much). IN SHORT: AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

Becarefull if you paid insurance in the application won't be good you must guarantee with 2500.00 usd dollar the car, something that no one tell you or explain you till you there and don't have other choices, cars are in bad conditions low grade of cars or sus poorly maintained, so Becarefull again mine have the fron tires in 12 when suppose to be 35 and the back in 40 when supposed to be 36,a retum was easy and simple but next time I rather to reserve something with American standards, this company literally is not ok.

I will never rent an Europacar vehicle. The offered price was attractive but all the insurances that the company charges are ridiculous. In other companies, I take the risk of not paying for any insurance to keep the price low and they charge my credit card for the amount that will cover any problem. In Europacar the try to charge you for a ridiculous amount that is higher that the real price of the car. Additionally, when I arrived they couldn't attend me because there was no electric power in their office (Veracruz airport, México). I had to pay a cab to get to my place and go back to the airport again to pick up my car. They didn't want to refund the lost day, arguing that it wasn't their fault. In summary, this has been my worst experience renting a car which a do a lot. I'll stick to Hertz

Horrible experience. We book the car through a german company because with them the service is top. However our experience this time with Europcar Veracruz airport was really bad. First when we arrived (after a long flight at night) we expected the pick up of the car would be very quick, because they already had our reservation and data, but no! I had to give again all informations and the worst, the lady in the office didn't wanted to give us the car because according to Europcar we didn't hire an insurence with them, but we did hired one insurence which covers all when we did the reservation. So she tried for almost 1 hr to sell us an insurence for about 400 USD!!! Of course we didn't take it, but all the time she was saying that if something would happen then Europcar would not provide any evidence to an extern company. Anyways we rejected this insurence because we had already one. And after discussing long time with her, she call her boss and they accepted to give us the car, but still she continue trying to sell us other services we didn't want or needed and was super persistant. Second thing the car gear change was in bad consitions, you could tell was already over. We didn't really feel safe in this car. And the last thing, one day before giving the car back we had an issue and I tried to get in contact with Europcar, I literaly tried all numbers I had available but no one ever picked up. Only in the central office and they said that they would send the informations to Veracruz but after that no one got in contact with me. For sure never again.

I had a terrible experience with europcar in Veracruz airport. I made the reservation online for about $80 some dollars. For 7 days. I was aware of a foreign driver fee and insurance fee. But $500.00+ insurance fee no exceptions is absurd. It was not even a luxury car first of all. We decided that we didn’t want to get it after all. Then they were lowering the price more and more to $180.00 we could not trust them. Decided to just get a taxi and use local transit. The lady also said if we didn’t want to get winshield insurance that a winshield could cost $20,000 pesos! We are buisiness people from the United States very responsible people. They lucked out and i will not recommend them what so ever. Also offered no ride back to the airport we had to walk back. All they cared about was money. Zero stars if I could.

This is a zero review. Rented a car for the day in the evening on day one. took it to the hotel overnight in the evening checked it out of the valet in the morning drove 2 hours before the transmission and engine both overheated. Had to get picked up and taken back to the airport to drop this car off. Refuse refund and gave us major attitude from the manager. Absolutely one of the worst experiences in travel I have had. Would never recommend this to my worst enemy.
