Cuidado con esta compañia - te roban tu dinero. Stay away from this company they steal your money and customer service is nonexistent.

This company won't accept the rental insurance that comes with your credit card. We supposedly got a great deal on the rental through Expedia. Then found out local insurance was outrageously expensive (over $300 per week). We could have taken a cab everywhere we needed to go for way less money. If we didn't have family to call on, we would have been stranded miles away from the airport without transportation, and would have had to fork over the money. File under "highway robbery." Do your homework before booking Europcar, and run, don't walk, in the other direction.

Don’t rent here - they keep your deposit which is in the thousands of dollars. You see them answering to bad reviews asking to email their customer service email - however you will never receive a response from that email. Horrible customer service and Manager Victor was even worse. Rented a SUV and prepaid it but when I went to pick it up they didn't have it and they gave me a small car. When I complained they pretty much said take it or leave it but that I would have to dispute the charge to try to get my money back. Since I didn't have another option I took that car and when I went back to take the car back they said that I had scratched it and I looked at the pictures they had sent me and when I blow up the picture the scratch was there and then I tried taking pictures Victor said it was private property and I wasn't allowed to do that

Overall good price & car. Made our reservation on the phone and was attending great. The shuttle driver that took us from the airport to the Europcar offices was their best employee. He was the only helpful person there. The gal in office giving us our car wanted to give us an automatic when I showed her my standard reservation. Our reservation agent had to call to clear the air about a few details. Our car was then delivered to us by another guy without uniform or name tag that smelled bad and has very informal.

Horrible experience. We book the car through a german company because with them the service is top. However our experience this time with Europcar Veracruz airport was really bad. First when we arrived (after a long flight at night) we expected the pick up of the car would be very quick, because they already had our reservation and data, but no! I had to give again all informations and the worst, the lady in the office didn't wanted to give us the car because according to Europcar we didn't hire an insurence with them, but we did hired one insurence which covers all when we book the reservation. So she tried for almost 1 hr to sell us an insurence for about 400 USD!!! Of course we didn't take it, but all the time she was saying that if something would happen then Europcar would not provide any evidence to an extern company. Anyways we rejected this insurence because we had already one. And after discussing long time with her, she call her boss and they accepted to give us the car, but still she continue trying to sell us other services we didn't want or needed and was super persistant. Second thing the car gear change was in bad consitions, you could tell was already over. We didn't really feel safe in this car. And the last thing, one day before giving the car back we had an issue and I tried to get in contact with Europcar, I literaly tried all numbers I had available but no one ever picked up. Only in the central office and they said that they would send the informations to Veracruz but after that no one got in contact with me. For sure never again.

Do not rent cars here! We were charged 10 times what we were told for 10 days car rental x a insurance which for a full cover you don't even pay that much in USA in a whole year for one car after we find out about the charge they told us we do not get refund at all we reporting this to Mexican authorities and US as well that was a fraudulent transaction.
