Best Gym in Mexico

A	Amanda Pham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely one of the better commercial gyms here in playa del Carmen! It has everything you need from machines to free weights, lock room, sauna, stretching area. They could do with more squat racks in my opinion. What I don’t love about it is that it’s always so packed! Lol but at the same time because it’s often packed, I can’t help but feel motivated to crush my workout ? This is the gym to get into if you’re here!
F	French Fry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy, close to everything! They have spin and group classes - you do have to pay for Pilates $100 pesos per class or you can include it with your monthly dues not sure of that cost. it’s a good gym to go !

Lots of different high quality & good condition machines and free weights, and plenty of spare plates, even when it's busy, which it usually is. Sauna is super hot! Also a huge plus that they have a flat monthly fee with no registration fees.
R	Raphaël Pathé on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High energy fitness zone. Get fit or die. I love it. Everyone is working out and working hard at it. Very motivating and inspiring to become more sexy. Finally, having the option to exercise mask free has improved my gym routine, I can breathe properly, it is better for my lungs to not wear a mask, I look so much better now. On another note, the mini food station downstairs has a cool selection of healthy food if you could not eat before you hit the gym. I often have the chicken and vegetables box before my workout.

Supplement/snack bar good selection, expensive supplements though compared too online prices. Has a restaurant right outside the gym that is good. Sauna was a nice extra. Larger gym nice ambience overall good experience.

It's always super busy though, so Sundays are the best day to go as that day is the slowest, or be finished working out by 8:45 am at the latest. Otherwise it's a well equipped gym, although the cardio machines worked inconsistently the whole month I was a member. I did see technicians there one day though. To get the most out of this place, go early in the morning, otherwise be prepared for a zoo along with some people who may not respect your personal space at all.

J	Jeff Lam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Either bring your own towel or you'd have to buy one from the front desk. Large gym with all the equipment you could possibly need. Can get very busy here sometimes so plan accordingly. Beware of the smoothie place downstairs. I ordered a protein shake but they package the protein in little plastic packs inside the bucket and you can't tell if you are actually getting the same protein you ordered. My drink had a bitter aftertaste which leads me to suspect the protein has gone bad. Definitely feel ripped off.
