Ex-Hacienda de Chautla - 74135 San Lucas el Grande

This is a great place to spend the day, you have eat at one of their restaurants, bring your own food and have a picnic or you can even fish! Pets are allowed but make sure to keep a close eye on them since there are other dogs that are wondering around the place. It’s about 40MXN per person and you can spend the whole day there. It’s worth going there and even spend a night at the hotel. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars it’s because we went there on a Sunday and the were so many photo shoots going on that it was a bit annoying having to move or make your way around it.

Great place to stop and have lunch while traveling from Puebla to Mexico City

Nice place to take a break, a couple of km off the puebla-mexico city highway. Entry fee of Adults 40 and children 10 pesos. Lovely setting, beautiful paths to walk around, colourful hacienda,shimmering lakes with birds. Clean toilets . Possibility for boating or fishing. Restaurant on site as well as picnic tables.

Good place for taking photos, amazing

I got the opportunity to go on Father's Day. Arrived and the first parking area was reserved for a dog event which had electric car charging parking. We were directed to the next in front of the main entrance. There were entrance fees for adults, kids, fishing permit, fishing bait, and raft rental. Once your in to your right is the Kiosco and then are the food stalls up ahead. To your left are the bathrooms which aren't baby friendly, to your right is the Ex Hacienda. Your able to get a top view, behind the building is a restaurant and to the left is the rafts and picnic area Overall is a cool place to visit

Nice place to chill out with your family or a good walking around of the lake but, do not have a big expectation about the castle. The castle is small but beautiful where you can take pictures from outside where you can appreciate the lake and the castle together. You can explore it, in the last story is a terraza where you can take pictures, on the ground floor you can buy some souvenirs at good prices, the stairs are very narrow and are not suitable and safe for the elderly people or those with mobility problems. There are activities like, fishing, camping, riding, boating, zip zone and they offer you an excursion to visit the eyes of water and Los Arroyos that are in the upper part of the area. On the lake is a kiosk if you wish take pictures you have to get earlier before there are many people. If you follow the stairs to the top you will find the hotel that has a restaurant with a buffet with different delicious dishes and a beautiful view of the lake. The entrance to the castle has a cost of $40 Adult, $20 Seniors, $10 Children and $20 Parking. Tips.- Inside of you can find food venders and delicious ice cream. At the parking lot you can find local venders, selling fruit, corn in a cob, pan dulce. Enjoy your day and keep safe!??

Love it! Great place to visit. The only thing it's that some part of the hacienda it's closed but other than that ? percent recommend.

The place was so scenic and beautiful, great guides around the estate that tell you the crazy story if the place and the restaurant was good. They are pet friendly and have cabins for rent to stay the weekend, will definitely try to come back.
