Esta cerca de CD Chihuahua (pasando la caseta Sacramento de la carretera a CD Juárez, inmediatamente a la izquierda está la carretera a Majalca y por allí entras hacia Ocampo donde esta la hacienda). La remodelación está linda, hacen eventos en su salón principal, el paisaje es tranquilo y bello. Tiene una pequeña capilla y vestigios de la vieja usanza de la hacienda. Cobran 10 pesos por la entrada (julio 2021). It is a nice place to go for a walk. It is near CD Chihuahua (passing the Sacramento booth on the highway to CD Juárez, immediately to the left is the highway to Majalca and from there you enter Ocampo where the farm is). The remodeling is beautiful, they hold events in their main hall, the landscape is calm and beautiful. It has a small chapel and vestiges of the old style of the hacienda. They charge 10 pesos for the entrance (July 2021).

El recorrido no es muy largo, tampoco hay mucho que ver. Pero vale la pena irla a conocer porque forma parte de la historia de Chihuahua. El restaurante no tiene mucho que ver con la hacienda si no te interesa dar el recorrido no te recomiendo ir al restaurante. Still under renovation. The bathrooms are very dirty. H	Hilda Monge on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Este místico lugar representa para mi mucha historia muy interesante, pues aqui mis papas recien se casaron, pasaron sus primero años de matrimonio, ahi nacimos mi hermano mayor y yo. El restaurant esta muy muy rico todo pedimos varios platillos y probamos de todo, incluso el vino tinto hecho en Chihuahua. Pasamos una agradable tarde en familia y muy muy buena la atención. Gracias a todo el equipo por supuesto que volveremos. Sus precios son muy accesibles. Super recomendado. En el pasillo hacia el restaurant esta lo que era las habitaciones donde mis papas vivian y ahi me sentaba mi mama frente ala chimenea siendo una bebe. Asi les puedo decir que esta magnificamente mejorada pero conservan todo su origen. Su portal donde hacian los bailes del pueblo y su iglesia donde se celebraban las misas. Tiene tambien su reloj de sol. El mezquite que esta frente ala casona dice mi madre que es el mismo lo dejaron ahi. Hay una tienda de souvenirs y compramos crema de sotol muy rica y recuerditos hechos por los tarahumaras del estado. Visita La hacienda de Colonia Ocampo, muy cerca de la ciudad y vive una experiencia maravillosa. This mystical place represents for me a lot of very interesting history, because here my parents just got married, they spent their first years of marriage, my older brother and I were born there. The restaurant is very very tasty, we all ordered various dishes and we tried everything, even the red wine made in Chihuahua. We spent a pleasant afternoon with the family and the service was very good. Thanks to all the team of course we will be back. Their prices are very affordable. Super recommended. In the hallway to the restaurant is what were the rooms where my parents lived and there my mother sat in front of the fireplace as a baby. So I can tell you that it is magnificently improved but they retain all their origin. Its portal where the town dances were held and its church where masses were celebrated. It also has its sundial. The mesquite that is in front of the house, my mother says it is the same, they left it there. There is a souvenir shop and we buy very rich sotol cream and souvenirs made by the Tarahumara of the state. Visit La Hacienda de Colonia Ocampo, very close to the city and have a wonderful experience.

She was a good friend I met when I was 17 years old back in the 70's later found her on Facebook in 2016, She was from Camargo chihuahua, and a on Oct-13-18, She had a fatal accident on the road to chihuahua, I'm from the states, And She Would Always Bring up My Spirits and invite me to come out to the state of chihuahua and explore She would tell me it's OK and safe, so last June 2021 we were on the road to visit some ruinsin chihuahua LA QUINTANA CAROLINA's and I remember this place was close by Sacramento chihuahua, and it's a great place to visit if you like colonial, I'd recommend it, just to take pictures of, it's a good history of the great state of chihuahua.
