The Good: The place has great views, great food, great rooms, and it's the perfect place to get away. The Bad: It's very expensive, and their employees DO NOT speak English. The Ugly: - False advertisement on their massage packages. - Rude receptionists, that rolled their eyes when confronted with their package prices list. ( $800.00 MN for 80 minutes and they charge me $700.00 MN for only 45 minutes) - The price to stay on the internet was $3,200.00 MXP and they charged $3,900.00 MXP. Bottom line: -Management needs to update their prices. - Train their employees and make them more efficient. - Honor their prices, and/or remove the "new brochures" from the rooms so they won't be misleading. UPDATE. 31/12/17 After explaining the situation with the manager I change the 1 star o a 4 stars, the Manager offer me a complimentary tour to the vineyard, a value of $ 350.00 MXP

Our vacation included QRO, SM, GTO, and Leon and this place was the highlight of our trip! A wonderful spot with a generously sized room (we stayed in their basic king room) and VERY a comfortable bed. We had internet access, and enjoyed our massage at the spa. The service, especially our waiter/bartender, Carlos, was amazing. Carlos went out of his way to help over and over again. Maria was very helpful as well, helping us navigate the property with our bad Spanish speaking abilities. We also took part in the winery tour and our guide was bilingual (something we were continually grateful for) and also knowledgeable about the property’s history, the wine making process, and how to taste and evaluate the wine. I really wish I could correctly spell her name to give credit, but It began with an “A” and she is from Argentina.

Beautiful place. Nice tour. Too bad the grapes are not ready to produce enough wine for tasting. The wines they had there were ok but they were not grown nor made there.

This place is great! Hotel, restaurants, vineyard, events. Great view overlooking Silao/Leon. The food is great. The staff is efficient and kind. This place seems to cater to an upper clientele. They are really trying to make this a special place. I’d make it a $$$, but it’s worth a go. Walk around and experience the grounds. Let them know the review of Goyo GTO sent you out for a visit.

This place is by far one of the best looking in the area. For the price, you get a safe guarded night in, in a large beautifuly done landscape. They offer spa packages and other services and tours in the vineyards. Also they offer food in a restaurant inside the hotel. Which had to be some of the best tasting I had in my visit to Mexico. It's a bit pricey in comparison though. Also the biggest issue is there was absolutely no wi-fi. Which was a disappointment. Also the route to any town will be long as the roads are cobblestone, but the views are gorgeous, something to be aware of.

Very beautiful, but extremely pricey. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a variety of amenities. The food is excellent. Great massage. Employees at the front desk need better training in how to relate to guests. They should NOT roll their eyes in front of a guest who questions incorrect information in the guest services brochure. The prices and costs were incorrect for spa services. These brochures should be updated - especially with the prices they are charging.

Definitely a magical place! Super unique and special. You can tell this is the kind of place that the rich and wealthy 1% would come to back in the day. A hundred years ago and more. It's 400 years old. And it was Definitely for the "rich" and privileged. It has a very special energy about the place. No wonder since you're next to Cristo Rey and on the top of the mountain. The winery aspect is cool. The food is fantastic. And the service to us, was impeccable. The views are breathtaking.

Worst experience ever! Do it waste your time and your money in this hotel. The service is not competent, they cannot solve any issue whatsoever.
