Inmensos paredones, enormes tinacales, capillas majestuosas, así eran las haciendas de la región de Tlaxco.
La hacienda San Pedro, Metla es ahora un conjunto ruinoso, pero con un interesante legado arquitectónico que se puede apreciar si caminas entres las habitaciones y pasillos; lo único que permanece “en pie” es su capilla con su panteón al lado, y algunas lápidas de sus antiguos dueños y administradores. -Los pueblos de México.

 Pulque was a very lucrative business in the state of Tlaxcala, great capitals arose from this activity, some farms were true emporiums; today only stories and memories of an era remain. Immense walls, huge tinacales, majestic chapels, this is how the haciendas of the Tlaxco region were.
The Hacienda San Pedro, Metla is now a dilapidated complex, but with an interesting architectural legacy that can be appreciated if you walk between the rooms and corridors; the only thing that remains “standing” is its chapel with its pantheon next to it, and some tombstones of its former owners and administrators. -The peoples of Mexico.
