Se cuenta que ahí se hacen rituales satánicos y que se siente una vibra muy pesada. También muchas personas van para sesiones de fotos. Old Normal School of Perote. Los jóvenes estudiantes eran de origen campesino y rural, y en su mayoría, de escasos recursos económicos; por tanto su formación se basó en el compromiso social para la transformación de los contextos marginados de México. La caída de este lugar fue 1969 cuando el ejército tomó el lugar debido a la represión en contra del movimiento estudiantil del 2 de octubre 1968 desde entonces se encuentra en total abandono. Es un lugar de muchos mitos, las leyendas urbanas y la desinformación de muchos medios han llevado a satanizar el lugar, llevándolo a ser un punto de delincuencia, por esa razón no es recomendable visitarla solos.
