Beach and pool service is awesome. Food was hit or miss. The Indian, French, and Magma restaurants were very good. Didn’t meet our concierge until day 4. Love the pillow menu. Have booked for next year. Looking forward to a wonderful experience. Rachel, Roman, and Alejandro were very attentive in the beach beds.

I’ve been to many all inclusive resorts and this has been the most incredible experience. The staff’s attention to detail is unmatched and they have a way of making guests feel like royalty without overwhelming them at all. Everyone seems so genuinely happy to make the vacation the best it can be. Also, I highly recommend the hydrotherapy and spa combo. I’ve never felt more zen in my life. Last but not least, I want to give a shout out to Erick, who was constantly amazing in making sure everything was always perfect, and to Joel, who has a very impressive sand art skill set and took some amazing photos of us. We have already been talking about making this an annual extended weekend getaway!

After much research I landed on the Excellence Playa Mujeres resort for my honeymoon. I upgraded to the Excellence club membership prior to our stay and it was unbelievable. I have been to many resorts in all different places and this is hands down the best I have been too. The hospitality, room, service, shows everything was incredible. The other main thing for my wife and I was the food. This resort had the best food I have also ever had from any other resort. All meats cooked thoroughly and so many different cuisines to try throughout the resort. Alejandro and Rubi who serviced the beach for the excellence club members were one of our favorite parts of our stay. They are both so personable and friendly we looked forward to seeing them each day on the beach. They will help take care of your every need and more!

Absolutely the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It exceeds expectations from the get go. The service was incredible. The food at all the restaurants except the Italian was fantastic. The rooms are spotless and have a jacuzzi inside. A mini bar that's restocked twice a day and they come and clean your room twice a day. All the staff that I encountered was extremely friendly and cordial. The beach and the pools are beautiful. They offer a free COVID test at the end of your stay at the resort. This resort goes the extra mile and I can't recommend it enough. Worth the price.

The Staff is the friendliest and most dedicated I have ever seen. Eric was our beach concierge and always goes above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Tony and Monica do an excellent job with activities. They have high energy and try to involve everyone that wants to participate. Can’t say enough about this resort. ALL of the staff, regardless of position, treat you with joy and kindness. This is our 3rd trip to an Excellence resort and we will keep coming back. Top notch!!

This resort is absolutely worth every penny and more. The staff is so nice and always trying to find ways to make your experience even better! I recommend doing the excellence package so you have access to the private beach area. The day beds are a dream, just remember they’re popular so reserve one early in the day! Rubi is the best waitress and brings us the most delicious drinks and snacks! She is quick and so kind! Erick helped us secure a couple beds during our stay and made us the most adorable towel sand art celebrating our honeymoon! I don’t have enough kind words to say about the people here! We will definitely be returning over and over again!

We had an amazing stay at Excellence and honestly could not think of any improvements. From the moment we stepped into the resort we were greeted with champagne and told to relax and enjoy the amenities. We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and our room had champagne and fruit waiting for us. All of the staff our amazing - so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - we enjoyed the tapas restaurant and the French restaurant so much that we went back to them twice. We also enjoyed the entertainment- from the electric violinist to the fire show - it was all top notch! It felt like the most relaxing vacation I ever had. I would highly recommend this resort!

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Excellence and we had an amazing time. The staffs were always friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Our favorite lunch restaurant was the grill. Jose always took good care of us. We also enjoyed and participated in the beach and pool activities organized by Alvin, Monica, Andres, Isabel and the rest of the team. We did different handcrafts and played games. We would highly recommend this resort!
