★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yucatan style tamales, very good. Unlike the ones from central Mexico the texture of the corn meal is very smooth, almost creamy, and it's about twice the size. Ours contained baked chicken, two colors of corn meal, and a slice of tomato and a bit of fresh herb, wrapped in a banana leaf. The salsa is provided on the side, not inside. The price is great, 15 pesos.
