Here I studied photography in the free workshop under the tutelage of Adriana Romero and the direction of Manolo Santoveña in the former National School of Plastic Arts of the UNAM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En marzo de 1992 el rector de la UNAM, Dr. José Sarukhán Kermes y el gobernador del Estado de Guerrero firmaron un convenio de comodato para el uso de las instalaciones de la Ex Hacienda del Chorrillo, las cuales fueron utilizadas por el Centro de Enseñanza para Extranjeros CEPE y la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas ENAP.
A partir de entonces la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas hoy Facultad de Artes y Diseño, hace presencia en Taxco, en la parte sur de la Ex hacienda del Chorrillo, con el nombre de Centro de Extensión Taxco; espacio en el que se ofrecían diversos cursos de dibujo, pintura, grabado, fotografía, escultura, joyería y esmaltes sobre metal, en la modalidad de Educación Continua.
A partir de agosto de 2011, se modifica el perfil académico del plantel Taxco, en el que se ofrecen además de los mencionados cursos de Educación Continua, las licenciaturas en Artes Visuales, Diseño y Comunicación Visual, y a partir de 2013 la licenciatura en Arte y Diseño, siguiendo con el compromiso que la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México mantiene con su sociedad
In March 1992, the rector of the UNAM, Dr. José Sarukhán Kermes and the governor of the State of Guerrero signed a bailment agreement for the use of the facilities of the Ex Hacienda del Chorrillo, which were used by the Teaching Center for Foreigners CEPE and the National School of Plastic Arts ENAP.
From then on, the National School of Plastic Arts, today Faculty of Arts and Design, is present in Taxco, in the southern part of the former Hacienda del Chorrillo, with the name of Taxco Extension Center; space in which various courses of drawing, painting, engraving, photography, sculpture, jewelry and enamels on metal were offered, in the modality of Continuing Education.
As of August 2011, the academic profile of the Taxco campus is modified, in which, in addition to the aforementioned Continuing Education courses, the degrees in Visual Arts, Design and Visual Communication are offered, and as of 2013 the degree in Art and Design, following the commitment that the National Autonomous University of Mexico maintains with its society
