Construction next to where was staying was a major disappointment as when I spoke to the resort twice before they told me there would be no construction.

Amazing stay as usual. Fantastic staff. The new Tauro restaurant is an excellent addition. The lobby and lobby bar redesign is stunning and the menu has been expanded/changed for the better.

This was our 3rd trip to Fairmont Heritage Place Mayakoba and each time, we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the beautiful grounds and beach area. Unfortunately, part of our family tested positive for Covid upon testing for our return to the US. Luckily, this happened at the end of our trip so prior to that we had a fantastic week. The resort was amazing at how they handled this and while some of us were able to fly out, the remaining family was able to stay behind in Quarantine which was arranged perfectly. It gave us comfort knowing our family was taken care of. A big shoutout to the entire staff of Fairmont Heritage Place who were always cheerful and willing to help with whatever our needs were. We look forward to returning again sometime in the near future!

Lovely getaway, makes you forget about all your problems. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are great in following up about reservations and general requests; even connected me with an excellent chef. Also, I was positively surprised to find my pool at the perfect temperature upon arrival.

I stayed at the Fairmont Mayakoba back in 2019 and had a lovely time. This time I brought friends back and we stayed at Heritage Place in Mayakoba in a 3 bedroom villa. I was so excited to share my experience with them! Sadly we were incredibly disappointed with the service. Our villa came with a butler (Alejandro) who we almost never saw, he gave us his phone number and would text him when we wanted a reservation or a ride and once we arrived at a restaurant they wouldn't have our name or reservation. The rides were often late or never showed up at all. Additionally I had made 90% of our reservations in advance and emailed the itinerary to him but he didn't seem to have checked that at all. At the end of our stay we struggled to even find him to tip him. In the resort itself I found transportation to be incredibly difficult this time around. We waited in the main transit area for a golf cart to the beach for 40 minutes, even after texting Alejandro, calling the front desk, and waving people down we couldn't seem to get a ride. We were very late to our dinner reservation because of this. This was a continuous theme, not that delayed again but we would often wait 15 minutes for a ride anywhere. The front desk in heritage place continuously gave us incorrect information. One staff member would tell us a note and then the next would contradict that just a few hours later. It was very difficult. I think in total I was most disappointed by the feel of the resort since I had last visited. It now feels more like a cheaper all inclusive resort, which is wonderful but it still has the price tag of a luxury resort. As soon as we stepped foot onto the property of neighboring resorts for dinners it was like a breath of fresh air the service and the accommodations were so lovely.
