★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! They have a lot of different dishes for whatever you are craving and we are so happy we discovered them. We love their chips and guacamole and the margaritas are the best!! Their enchiladas were so delicious as well as all the other dishes we had. The staff and owner are super friendly and the environment is very fun. We will definitely be back again very soon. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge portions at a great price and the food is good. But the best thing about Fajita Republic is the service. It has some the best servers in the area. They are extremely attentive, friendly, and fast! Check it out for yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing fajitas and impeccable service! I had the chicken fajitas and they were delicious. Served with sizzling to the table with an array of accompaniments such as cheese, sour cream, guacamole, beans, rice, etc. Don Fernando and his service team were super attentive and made my dining experience one of a kind. Will definitely be back and highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Look, it's ok. In the tourist Zona Romantica so super touristy. Mediocre food, excellent service. It's pretty much every American style Mexican restaurant. If you need something familiar without complications, this is it. Had shrimp burger. Fell apart, soggy bread. Guacamole was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large and/or franchise operations are not normally my first choice, but I make a big exception for Fajita Republic. I've been eating there for years and it never disappoints. Quality of food and drinks uniformly excellent.
Special shout-out to Fernando, who works hard (and pleasantly) to look after his customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is very delicious. I especially enjoyed the complimentary cucumbers and jicama with tajin seasoning, the crunch salad and the fajitas ranchero. The servers are very attentive, and prices are reasonable. The flaming of the fajitas tableside was a lovely surprise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not good and don’t recommend. Came for dinner. It’s a big restaurant, but they were insistent on sitting everyone outside or in the front part of the restaurant. The menu I received was old and dirty (see photos).
I tried the Cesar salad and their famous ribs which are advertised all over the restaurant. The ribs were supposed to be baby back ribs. But they were the farthest from baby back I’ve ever seen. They were dry, chewy, and had no flavor. Their “famous” bbq sauce was tart. I opted for the twice baked potato. The potato was extremely dry and flavorless. I walked by daily on the way to the beach to see others eating the same ribs and their body language said it all (painful, agony, and guilt for ordering).
The service was lacking and I had to ask for everything. My food took forever to come out only to find out the server forgot my order.
If you want bbq check out El Rio BBQ. If you want fajitas go to Margarita Grill. Point is, there shouldn’t be any reason to endure Fajita Republic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed a break from meat tacos, so tried their veggie fajitas, and it was super good!! A big portion for sure and even a little show before they served it to me (flames fueled by tequila!). They take credit cards(great for when you are low in MX pesos). I would suggest to seat outside if there during peak hours as you will get a lot of foot traffic from the side walk.
