★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui a consulta por tapón de oídos y la médica que me atendió me dijo que tenía que hacerme un lavado de oídos, pero que para esto primero necesitaba enviarme un tratamiento con gotas de agua oxigenada y otras gotas especiales, que debía ponerme por tres días. Como este tratamiento empeoró mis síntomas, volví antes, para pedirle que ya me hiciera el lavado. La doctora se mostró reacia y me dijo que si quería que me lo hiciera, tenía que esperar hasta que terminara de consultar a todos los pacientes que tenía en espera, sin importarle que yo ya había esperado, por una hora, mi turno.
Al final acabé yendo con una especialista, que me sacó el tapón sin necesidad de hacer lavado, y que me dijo que nunca se debe echar agua oxigenada a los oídos, porque los irrita y daña.
I went to a consultation for an ear plug and the doctor who treated me told me that I had to wash my ears, but for this I first needed to send me a treatment with drops of hydrogen peroxide and other special drops, which I had to put on for three days. As this treatment worsened my symptoms, I went back earlier, to ask him to do the washing. The doctor was reluctant and told me that if I wanted him to do it to me, I had to wait until I finished consulting all the patients I had waiting, not caring that I had already waited, for an hour, for my turn.
In the end I ended up going to a specialist, who removed the plug without having to wash, and who told me that you should never pour hydrogen peroxide into my ears, because it irritates and damages them.
