To get to this beautiful Lighthouse it takes approximately 45 minutes, but it is well worth it as you can have these beautiful views. It is newly remodeled so if you visit it do not litter. TAKE CARE OF IT! During the trip you will see that there is also a lot of garbage so if you can collect something it would be great to keep our beaches clean.

Very good place for excursions. It is reached from Corrales, in Cape streams, and it is a walk of approximately 3.5 km, and just 400 meters next to the lighthouse there is a very beautiful beach, it is reached by going down the side, you have to be careful if you want to get into swim, You can also get there by boat from Corrales to the beach and walk the 400 meters to the lighthouse, they are uphill. The place looks a bit neglected but it gives it more mystery, there may be some bats but they are not dangerous, you do have to cover your mouth and nose so as not to smell their waste. If you go up the lighthouse, be very careful because a slip or any fall or other accident is difficult to attend to because of the distance and there it is very possible that they do not have a signal on their cell phones. Take care of the place it's worth it.

Visiting one has always been on my bucket list and not long ago I finally had a chance to do it. Driving the three hours, half of it on a dusty, bumpy road, was worth it. The trail had spectacular views of the ocean and when we got there we were in for a surprise - the lighthouse was restored and freshly painted!

It's a bit of a journey, the car ride from Vallarta is 2+ hours and the hike about the same each way. Mainly the trail is made by livestock, a few sketchy areas with dangerous drop offs. The light house building needs work the animals had taken over the lower level. Ended up showing off some of my photos to locals that had not been there. Made a fire, cooked some food then camped on the beach. Closet market in El tuito so go prepared. Second time, I went by boat but could not get on beach due to rough seas. Not the easiest place to get to but that adds to the adventure.
