I do all of my laundry at The Fast Laundry near The Monument of The Revolution. The ladies are super friendly and very helpful even though my Spanish is limited. The rates are very reasonable and if your lucky you’ll get to play with the sweet dog that “works” there!

They ruined my shirts! When transferring the clothes from (two) washing machines, they told me to put them all in one dryer. They then told me to check the clothes every 10 minutes to see if they were dry, so they don't stay in for too long. I did exactly as instructed and, like most people, when most of the clothes were dry, that's when I stopped the dryer and took things out. The clothes were unbelievably hot - I literally could not touch them to pull them out of the dryer, I had to put my hand inside my sleeve to grab them. To my surprise, several white shirts had splotches of color on them, and another shirt had burn marks. All my clothes in the dryer were years old and have been washed many times. Why are they using a dryer that gets so unreasonably hot? Why don't they warn people about that? When I complained, they told me I should have been checking every item of clothing every 10 minutes and pulling out what was dry - that's completely unreasonable for a dryer full of two loads of laundry. There was no apology, no reimbursement, nothing. They ruined my shirts because their dryer gets as hot as an oven. Also, they have no hot water. What business that makes its money off of cleaning only has cold water available??
