Fiesta Americana Mérida - 97000 Mérida

Lovely staff. The rooms were very nice as well. Centrally located and walkable to many great attractions and restaurants. One complaint would be the beds on the fiesta level. Super soft, but huge lumps of down the size of baseballs made it very hard to get comfortable. Aside from the lumpy bed, it was a delight. Also, the pool was quiet and had very few guests. Perfect to have some alone time.

The lobby is at the 2nd. floor of a shopping center. Nice rooms but old business model. There's no coffee nor hair dryer. WiFi is almost unusable. No perks. Everything has an extra cost. Many features are out of service, like the front door. Reservations are not a understandable concept for them. Water supply was cut from 1-4 am but it seemed natural to them that guests wouldn't care. The fire alarm in the whole hotel was activated at 7 am and 4 pm. Beds and AC very comfortable but sheets are worn out. No balconies. For that price, better stay at Hyatt.

It is a lovely hotel, 4 star but must, very well located. All kind of shops and restaurants, cigar shops and superstores. Next to Paseo Montejo and near a bunch of museums. Once you get here, go out and get yourself a marquesita, a local crepes but shaped differently. Filled with cheese and jams or Nutella.

The pool was nice and the hot tub was cool as well, the only bad thing about the hot tub is that you can only stay there in thirty min increments and only by appointment. Also they overcharge for the water and drinks in the room. The restaurants are over priced.

We have been in different places on this two weeks vacation: Morelia, Valladolid, Mérida, Playa del Carmen...But this hotel is the BEST! The service is awesome: We were celebrating our 44 anniversary, and they had a surprise for us in our room that night!❤️ At their main restaurant, food is delicious and with a lot of options. At the Fiesta club, Armando and Soremi always doing the extra step. Excellent service! The rooms very good. We were very happy here. Will return.

Absolutely perfect location. Can walk anywhere in Paseo Montejo and even downtown if you like walking and the weather isn't too hot. Easy to get a taxi or Uber. We got a room with a really nice view, no noise, cool and with great beds. Shower worked perfectly and service was awesome. TV could improve because although it was smart and big, we couldn't log into or download Netflix, even when trying to use our own account. There are quite a few shops at the entrance and all the offices for renting cars are right there, which makes the experience a super easy and comfortable one. The pool is so nice, perfect for the over 35° C weather of Merida during spring. The restaurants are really good too! One of the best meals we had in Mérida!!

Why does it say it's a 5 star hotel? It's nowhere near a 5 star service. Old building, misleading photos, the gym is not even equipped as suggested and rooms are way out of style. 60 pesos for room machine coffee? Seriously. We switched hotels right away, the price is def not worth it.

We stayed here for a wedding for 5 night and had an amazing experience. The rooms are very nice and clean. The beds are quite comfortable, more than most rooms I've been in before. The staff was very kind and accommodating. This place has everything you need for a comfortable and safe stay.
