Great place. Cool chillout music on the lobby. Restautant's food was good. We had enchiladas suizas and tacos dorados. Loved them! The only thing they need to improve is their parking. Spots are too tight and limited.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The place is so terrible I checked out a day early and booked a hotel elsewhere. Do not be fooled by the facade. In reality, it's a seedy hotel lacking in just about every department. During my stay: 1- I had to have a room reassigned because the air conditioning unit made a loud clacking sound every time it started and shut off. Additionally, my first room did not have an ironing board and the iron was filthy (see photo). The shower was beyond disgusting with previous guests' hairs on the shower walls and soap scum on cristal shower door. 2- Upon my second room assignment, I was woken up at 5:25 AM by another guest who was GIVEN A KEY TO MY ROOM. Had it not been for the safety latch on the door, a total stranger would have entered my room while I was sleeping. In addition, I had to close the curtain in my room with a hair clip every night because the curtain was broken and did not close all the way. Despite reporting it, the curtain was never fixed. 3- The gym is not equipped with disinfecting wipes or cleaning tools, despite their many signs to please clean equipment after use. 4- The street which leads to the hotel access (Lazaro Cardenas) was being paved during my stay. I was not notified (nor were other guests) that there would not be access to the hotel entrance by car. At 10:30 PM on my second day, I was unable to get into the hotel and not a single person answered the phone when I called to ask how I could get to the hotel. 5- Despite speaking to the manager on what seemed to be an almost daily basis, nothing was done beyond saying they were sorry. Nothing was ever fixed.

The room was nice, the service was excellent, the surprice the staff gave us for our anniversary was so sweet and we loved it. The food is delicious. I wish they had more coffee in the room, but besides that I really recommend it.

I stay here about once a month. The rooms are nice, massive Tv's, great service, solid internet. The restaurant is above average and probably the most important thing is the staff and management. Perhaps its because I have a relationship with them. I find everyone to be friendly and accommodating and don't recall a single time where they weren't. Better than that overpriced hotel Safi near the mall.

The room felt warm and moist. We had the air on cold all day and when we came back at night the room was still not cold. It was so uncomfortable. The bedsheets felt almost damp. We couldn’t sleep like that therefore we had them come to check the air and they did some fixing but it was still not working. They gave us a different room and the air felt the same. It was so hot at night. This hotel needs new ac units or something because they do not work well! Breakfast is only free for two people, you have to pay for extra people. The chilaquiles were cold, we had to give a cool our plates to heat them up for us. When we were leaving, cars were parked along the side of the exit ramp wall, we drive a big truck so we BARELY fit when we were getting out. They should make more parking spots for the guests. I think it’s pricy for the service that we got.

I got off to a rough start in Monterrey, where I was going for dental implants at a much more affordable price than I could get in the US. My T-Mobile hotspot had failed me a couple of miles across the border (yes, I had called from home to ensure I'd have service, but some miscommunication occurred), and thus I had no GPS entering Monterrey at rush hour. All I had to guide me were four words, 'Lazaro Cardenas," a street, and 'Fiesta Inn" (my hotel on that street), four little words to hold onto in ferocious traffic traversing from north to south that whole huge metropolis jammed into valleys between the Sierra Madre mountains. It was only luck, sheer luck, that I finally saw a freeway sign that said 'Lazaro Cardenas' and I gunned it and made the transition onto another hurtling freeway, and then only the grace of God that I glanced up from the mad rush around me and saw, surely a miracle, the sign 'Fiesta Inn' on an attractive building on the other side of the freeway. I exited and made my way back. I abandoned my car in the drop off and stumbled through the door. Two young women at the desk took me in with wide eyes, this elderly lady with her hair standing straight up, gasping 'bano!' (one word of the few I know in Spanish.) And Elena (said her nametag) took me by the hand and gently guided me to the lobby restroom, the first one I had seen since I crossed the border four hours back, there being no services whatsoever on that miserable toll road between Nuevo Laredo and Monterrey known as 85D. Then she sent someone for my luggage, walked with me to my car, guided me into the parking area. and got me to my lovely room, smiling and murmuring reassurances the while. My heart finally stopped pounding. I had made it! This same young woman over the next four days made sure that I knew how to get to my dentist and back to the hotel without GPS, how to order soft foods from their kitchen after the implant surgery, and made sure I was comfortable as I recovered. The entire staff in fact was enormously kind in the most natural way. The cleaning service, the luxe linens (especially the selection of pillows!), the restaurant, all were above standard. The Fiesta Inn Monterrey Valle is simply wonderful. You will be blessed if Elena is still there and not promoted up the company ranks, because she's a gifted manager who clearly inspires her staff, and that's so rare. It's all about the people, and these particular people are first class.

A/C did not worked all day, multiple calls made to reception and they took 4 hours to send someone and it never worked. I sleep in a bed of sweat. Worst experiences. Also restrooms stinks.

Cons: Needs more attention to rooms maintenance and cleaning for general areas. Pros: Staff: great service. Marvelous restaurant. A Starbucks coffee (inside) and Hotel's Location. Overall: so far so good.
