★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an incredible place to stay and visit the cultural and natural beauty in the heart of the Maya lowlands. Really, it’s more than a hotel. It’s an experience. It’s convenient to Palenque, Yaxchilan, and Bonampak. Each room is individually crafted and built with an eye for design. Every room is distinct, using local materials. Feels like an oasis even though it is so convenient to the key route for visiting archaeological sites.
The food is an added extra benefit. Finally, for me the real special element of staying at Vallescondido is the family who operates the hotel. They are kind, generous, and friendly. It’s really a unique and special place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the Chiapas countryside on the way to bonampack archeological site.Thr hotel is so quite during the night the only noise are coming from the near jungle and country. The rooms are fabulous, big and clean. The hotel restaurant offers typical dishes and drinks. Also the breakfast include some ingredients from local farms. The staff is very gentle everything perfect.
