Great fishing experience with these guys and caught tons of mahi. Boat was clean and maintained and had water, beer, and refreshments. Also fresh ceviche made in the boat was chingón!

Great experience with Regis and his crewman! They were very experimented and organized. We had a lot of fun! ??

We booked Regis based on his reviews. First off I would like to say that we caught quality mahi mahi. We boated 8 fish. Probably lost an equal amount. 4 fisherman from Chicago area. We could have enjoyed a great day on the water if Regis would have had a little patience. Regis continued to humiliate us during the entire trip. He began to yell and become irate as the morning progressed. I tried to tell him that we just wanted to enjoy a morning on the water. But the insults and verbal abuse was nonstop. I would not recommend him as a good option. We spent a good sum of money just wanting to go fishing. We enjoyed catching the fish that we did. Nobody got off that boat with a smile on their face including Regis. ??

Spoke to Regis on the beach prior to my fishing trip and set it up for the following day. One of his boats had availability and I reserved the trip with a small deposit. Regis told me full price for the boat to myself (which I was okay with), but he also told me that if someone else joined then we would split the cost. I told him that this was okay. So, I show up the morning of the trip and I'm introduced do the crew. Diego's boat. Out of nowhere, some parents drop a kid off who was going to be going out with us. I was thinking to myself "okay, cool... get to split the cost of the boat" as originally agreed to. The kid was an absolute hassle and wouldn't shut up the whole trip which annoyed the crew and me. Diego was generally not very friendly, not interested in providing a fun experience, non-attentive, and was taking calls the whole time. Here's the kicker. We get back from the fishing trip and I pull the cash out to pay Diego and crew (should have been splitting the cost with the kid's parents). Diego informs me that the kid is "his friend", and that I had to pay full price for the boat. After discussing this for a little while, I essentially paid full price and walked away. Will not be going back to these guys next time I'm around.

My four friends and I had a great time out on the water with Regis and his deckhand. We did well on Bonito and Dorado. Regis got us in front of a couple sailfish, but they ultimately weren't interested. The ceviche was great also. The whole trip was smooth, even the water!

My husband and I had a great fishing trip! It was our first time fishing on the ocean, but with Regis' enthusiastic and expert guidance we caught so many fish. The ceviche lunch was the best we've ever had. If you want to catch fish, book with Fishing Sayulita!

My son Luca and I fished w Regis and he is a pro level guide - he runs a tight ship, neat and clean and well provisioned, and he and his first mate keep things organized and clean the whole time. Most importantly he knows where the fish are and how to get them. We left on time and came back late having caught a lot of mahi mani which is what I want in a guide. We are also primarily fly fishermen and he was all in to us getting Dorado on the fly and the ceviche we made on the boat was the best I have ever had. Could not recommend him more highly - we will be fishing with Regis again for sure.

My wife and I had a great time fishing on this boat. We caught so many Dorado we got tired. I’m an avid fisherman in my home state of Oregon and this trip was one of the most exciting trips I’ve ever taken.
