We had a lovely six hour tour with Black Cat and Jose. It was beautiful weather, they met us as agreed, and they were both funny and kind. We enjoyed our time with them very much. Ultimately we only caught one Barracuda, but it was perfect for the amazing ceviche that they made fresh for us. We had a great time snorkeling and got to feed and touch sting rays. Both men worked hard to get us fish, I’m glad we found this company and you should definitely book with them!

Incredible experience with Captain Gato and first mate Jose! They are INCREDIBLY patient with us and had excellent customer service skills. They catered the trip to our needs and were both great company! They got us on fish quickly, showed us different knots, and tricks in the water! They answered all of our questions, taught us how to use the reels, and went over safety in the boat thoroughly. Every time our lines snapped, they were quick to have a rod ready for us so we could get back to the action! Marcel also was able to squeeze us in their busy schedules on the last minute so I greatly appreciate that! Great communication! You could tell the different crew members all had a great relationships with each other and it really was reflected in their demeanor when working. When we showed up to a new spot, other captains from the same charter were letting us know what was biting and sharing their baits so everyone could get a catch within minutes! They were professional, friendly, very laid back, and get you on multiple fish species!! Also, the cooler filled of cold drinks and sunscreen was an added bonus! Regardless of your experience level, I highly recommend them if you are looking for a charter for you and/or your family!

My wife and I went on a fishing tour, believe me, it was my first time fishing in Playa del Carmen, it was a very good day, we caught three barracudas and some trigerfish, the ceviche prepared by the excellent captain and the snorkeling was very good, the guys were very attentive and helpful. thanks fishintour see you next year

Capt Gato and crew were absolutely amazing. We caught a couple barracuda and we snorkeled. Then we had fresh ceviche and guacamole with the fish we caught. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. They were super friendly and super attentive the whole time.

This was a great fishing trip. We caught a few fish then snorkeled while the crew turned our freshly caught snapper into ceviche. While we snorkeled, the crew threw in bits of fish pieces to attract beautiful fish. We were in about 6 feet if water with many sting rays under us, sea turtle, lots of fish, and a huge green eel. Was an incredible day and will do it again with El Gato and his crew next time I am in Playa
