★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was scaptical at first as I read reviews, however, I gave it a shot. My experience was better than expected so I felt I needed to speak out on the negative reviews as they must have improved. I was a little worried as I had no reservation number or confirmation email. But when we showed up, I walked up to the first guy I saw in a Flex Shuttle shirt and asked him. He looked me up by my name and had a taxi ready for us and took us over an hour away to our resort with no problem.I was then worried about the return trip as I had no email or confirmation. But, the day before we were to be picked up, I received an email, a phone call, and a text/what's app confirming my place and time of pick up. So if your on the fence, they worked out great for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We unfortunately purchased a taxi ride from Cancun International Airport to our hotel from Flex Shuttle EcoCab. They had us wait around for nearly an hour telling us that our taxi was "5 minutes away" every time we asked. After watching hundreds and hundreds of other tourists get into taxis and leave, our patience ran out and we told them we were no longer interested in their services. They flat-out refused to cancel the pending charge on our credit card, despite the fact that we never got into one of their taxis. In our opinion, Flex Shuttle EcoCab is in the business of scamming tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an early flight out of the Merida airport and were nervous about getting there since we didn’t rent a car during our trip. We were walking around downtown and bumped into a driver for this company and decided to schedule a private shuttle from our Airbnb to the airport at 4:30 am. We waited for over 30 minutes but the driver never showed up.
We never received any apologies from the company or any follow up explaining why their driver failed to show up. They had my WhatsApp information so they could have easily sent me a message or called.
I would suggest avoiding this company and scheduling an Uber instead. The Uber driver who ended up taking us to the airport arrived within 10 minutes, was beyond friendly and charged 60 pesos compared to the 240 that this company planned on charging.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scam company! Avoid at all costs because they will either be late or pull a bait and switch!. They communicated punctually u til there was an issue! I paid extra for a 7 seater and they sent me a regular cab and when I asked for a refund....they ignored. Read the attached screenshot s. They still haven't replied 2 weeks later.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made a reservations for pickup for 4 people to transport to the airport with driver, Michael Suarez, and he showed up in a tiny car that did NOT fit 4 people and luggage. We had to hold suitcases on our laps. Then he drove like a speeding madman through town. I was very clear in advance that we had FOUR people and he showed up with a car only fit for 3! POOR SERVICE & TERRIBLE AND UNSAFE DRIVER!! What a rip-off!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I prepaid in the Merida arrivals area. Initially I was told the wait would be 30-40 minutes to which I had no issue. As it turned out there was Flex Shuttle cab waiting outside and between the driver and the area coordinator they decided they would take me. The driver remotely, i.e. did not get out of the car, opened the trunk and I put my heavy case in. The journey itself was good. Even though I gave my exact home address I had to direct the driver to my house once in my neighbourhood, I have no issue with this. Upon arriving to my house, this time the driver got out and opened the trunk, I took out my case, again no help from the driver, he then asked for a tip!!! I mean, for what, doing the absolute minimum his job requires? My refusal and explanation as to why greatly upset him, he even verbally abused me in Spanish.
So....be aware, avoid at all cost
