★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic breakfast here on Saturday morning. A friend recommended Recomienda for their chilaquiles which were fantastic. Breakfast comes as a package with coffee, juice, chilaquiles (or other main) and fruit. The fruit was a dice of beautiful fruit including watermelon, papaya, and melon. The chilaquiles are available with red or green salsa like most, but they also offer a speciality of salsa pasilla which is fantastic. You can also chose from different toppings, my friend had chorizo while I had an egg on top. Service was also excellent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was decent. They refused to serve us potable water,instead insisting we could only buy bottles. I don’t support disposable plastic bottled water if avoidable. Serving filtered water is customary in CDMX (and i guarantee that’s what the staff is drinking in the back).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was GOOD!! Very homemade hole in the wall but amazing!! Great service and almost all breakfasts come in a “Pack” with fruit and cafe de olla. All of our food was good (chilaquiles) and the arrachera meat was juicy and flavorful. Please visit!!
