★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were just walking by and decided to pop in to take a look. Whoever hired Vianey Montiel is very smart. She literally engaged us right away, took us on a full tour, smiling and explaining each floor. We had a great visit and will definitely be back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious- our favorites were the sea bass, tomahawk, guac and the chocolate lava cake. The cocktails were also quite good! The one dish we didn’t love was the octopus tostada. Everything else was top notch! Def adding this to my list of top CDMX restaurants

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am writing this review from my hotel bed. I had dinner at Fónico last night (Monday 28/03/2022). Now I have severe food poisoning due to their esquites de cangrejo. I know this because I just vomited it out seven times in a row. Sorry for the TMI but I don’t want other customers to experience this. I should have known better. It tasted too sweet but I was hungry from barely eating all day. I was greeted with a smile and had excellent service for my quick solo dinner but I cannot overlook this. I’m so sad I had to cancel my lunch reservation at Quintonil and my plans tonight with friends. I have a fever and feel like death. I literally never get sick so I’m not being dramatic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an awesome place to eat in Mexico City. The staff was very friendly and they took the time to explain everything about your drinks or meals. The restaurant had a different kind of dark vibe with a nice area full of tropical plants. The drinks are some of the best I've ever had and the food was just so good. Just a great place overall. I highly recommend the black margarita. It's probably the best margarita I've ever had.
