Según sus orígenes se encontraba en los años 60's, cerca del hospicio cabañas, en aquel tiempo se llamo " fuente de los niños del hospicio"
Alimentando la leyenda del callejón del diablo; en donde se dice que la imagen de los niños ( que simboliza pureza y bondad) alejan a las fuerzas tenebrosas...
Hay otra leyenda que gira en que representa niños jugando en el antíguo ti San Juan de Dios.
Hace algunos años, 2015, para ser exacto, fue robada una escultura.... La cual posteriormente fue encontrada antes de que fuera fundida.
