B	Brian Van Der Haegen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a booking for $340 Canadian, they would not honour it and wanted another $1000 for insurance. Then made us a new booking for $600 Canadian. Total scam. Avoid at all costs. Don’t trust Expedia bookings. This place is garbage.
C	Courtney Acostagrates on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS RATHER THAN TRUSTING IN EXPEDIA WITH THIS RESERVATION! THESE PEOPLE EXORT YOU INTO BUYING EXPENSIVE INSURANCE (MY $150 CAR RENTAL RESERVATION ENDED UP BEING $800) AND ARE LITERAL THIEVES! They were rude, rented me a car with the check engine light on, and worst of all ONE BLOCK AWAY MY CAR WAS BROKED INTO BY SOMEONE -WITH A KEY- WHO STOLE $2500 WORTH OF VALUABLES FROM MY CAR! The staff were rude and unapologetic when I confronted them about it, even with the police, When I went to the state prosecutor's office to report the theft there was another tourist there who had also rented from them, a thief had broken into her trunk ALSO WITH A KEY and stolen all her luggage too. NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY NEED TO BE CRIMINALLY PROSECUTED.
D	David Palz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They make you purchase their 'basic' insurance for USD35 per day no matter how much coverage you already have through your credit card, or any coverage that you had already paid for when booking. This is not disclosed when the reservation is made, so it traps you at the counter with a choice of paying an extra USD245 for a one week rental, or risking your plans by trying to find a cheaper car elsewhere.
S	Sophie Lessard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scam they do not accept reservation from expedia. They charge you double and are super insistant on the extra insurance. Plus we had to wait for 3 hours to get the car. Save your time and your money and do not do buisness with these guys. By the way they are named Europcar. So they are the same as Europcar.
D	Dev Amratia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to upswell insurance by claiming that my American Express platinum cover, which has a global remit, doesn’t suffice. A $157 rental, which was confirmed on Fox rental cars, was not honoured and instead they tried to charge us >$350. We walked away without a rental car. It is shameful that these upsells aren’t made transparent at the time of booking.
m	mspatty anne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutley the worse place I have ever TRIED to rent CAR!!!! I was working with a guy named Louis. He would not honor the price of my reservation with expedia. I have insurance with American express and he would only accept it if i gave a cc deposit of 14,000.00 USD!! When I showed him the fine print that his company had on expedia he said to complain to expedia because it was not correct. He wanted an additional 7.50 per day for tag fee!! WHAT! the encounter ended with he and three of his coworkers yelling at me and telling me hey this is mexico go back to the United States!!! AGAIN WHAT!!! All because I challanged him overcharging for a confirmed reservation and confirmed price... WHAT!!! I left without the car in tears after being accosted by 4 men! So done with Mexico!

We reserved the car at 9 am and got there in 40 minutes only you hear "we don't have your reservation yet, it takes 3 hours for the system to get updated" whattttt??really Now talk about insurance, very high price, they get you in to sell high charged insurance. We didn't feel right and walked out. We hired a taxi for a full day to take us to Tulum Mayan ruins, canotes and restaurants at a very reasonable price and didn't have to worry about a thing. Try this option next time you are looking to rent a car and definitely avoid this company.

They will force you into buying overpriced insurance (more expensive than the actual rental cost), even if you are covered with your credit card. They also don't want you to be 2 at the same time in the store, as they want to make sure they can ripoff every single client individually. We left and went to Budget car rentals (down the street), and the man was much nicer to us, and we were able to rent a car for a reasonable price. THANKS BUDGET!!!!!
