★ ★ ★ ★ ★ lovely menu with bright flavors. Excellent, creative vegan takes on classic Mexican fare, as well as other cuisine. Cozy street-side dining near the bustle of Roma. Also, wonderful staff that shares a passion for vegan cooking (and good soup)! I can't wait to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One important thing to know - not only is this a vegan restaurant, it's gluten free ("sin gluten") as well! And I agree with the other 5-star reviews - excellent food, authentic 'hole-in-the-wall' ambiance, and convenient location between Roma Sur & Roma Norte. Specifically the pizza was tasty, and with a crust that was crispy, a bit chewy, but not at all tough or leathery like most GF variations - this tasted like the real thing. As a bonus, they gave me a taste of their new & upcoming ice creams, which were out-of-this world tasty. I want to emphasize the friendliness and attentive service of the staff, they went out of their way to help me with the menu, and to explain all the options for me, despite my clumsiness with Spanish (I said 'hola' on the way out :), and not even asking their names! Definitely worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh & Co. is a great little place that's different from any other vegan restaurant I've eaten at in Mexico City. It's a tiny, spotless, well-designed kitchen facing the street with one guy (Geraldo) who does all the cooking; They've got four outdoor tables on a quiet street, and they open at 9:30 for breakfast every day but Monday. Everything Geraldo makes is good, and the red chilaquiles are about the best I've had in two years of living in Mexico. The tofu scramble (juevos veganos) and the tortilla soup (sopa Azteca) are also winners. Prices are reasonable, and a typical meal will set you back about $5. This is minimalism at its best: a friendly and relaxed cook churning out clean, healthy, simple food that's consistently excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is INCREDIBLE. This is our second stay in Mexico City and Fresh & Co. has the best Vegan breakfast of all the vegan restaurants we've tried, and we've tried them all! The fresh ingredients bring out authentic flavors and you would not know you're eating vegan unless someone told you! They have a nice outdoor patio and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful.
