★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best fruit shop in the market and in downtown, hands down. Great assortment of fruits - you can find everything - at a high quality and unbeatable prices. Fruits are available at different stages of ripeness: the owner was literally asking me when do I look to consume each item so that he can offer the appropriate fruit that would reach the peak of ripeness at that moment. I’d also like to emphasise how welcoming and generous the owner was - I got to try a number of fruits I didn’t know and felt so spoiled.
Don’t miss this place when you visit Mercado San Juan, as well as the coffee shop next to it!
