★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shopping for fresh fruiit and vegies can be a challenge in small town Mexico for a gringo but the local fruterias offer a wide selection and great prices. A little care with wasing takes care of almpst all issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to buy fruit and dry goods in the heart of La Penita. They have numerous young employees working to keep the selection fresh. Always moving in new boxes of fruits and veggies because they sell so much.
Lots of dry goods and tons of sauces. Prices are some of the best I've seen. The workers have always been honest and helpful. And not only foreigners like myself, but locals from La Penita and Guayabitos appear to make this their primary market for the area.
