c	cheryl Eakins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Change of pace on the usual dinner. While staying g at the casitas we did the culinary theater. It was an extra 10p.p to book a table. I expect food and wine pairings for this event. When we got there it was another 45. Pp for the wine. We had a top notch champagne, a Mexican beer, 3 whites and a red. All paired great with the dishes. Oh and a drink upon arrival. Not sure what it was but it was light and fruity. All recipes were easy enough to duplicate at home and seemingly quick to prepare. They should give you a recipe card. Host, chef, and musical entertainment were all great. Unique experience for a dinner.

If you decide to go to El Dorado Royale instead of the better resorts nearby, this restaurant and show experience is a must do! The resort is mediocre at best compared to other local options, but this dinner and show is spectacular!

The chef explains and cooks each of the five courses as the show. We did the wine pairing flight. It’s optional but we’ll worth it. A very fun evening.

Food was very good, was prepared to leave hungry as people had said there wasn't much food, but there was more than enough. We didn't do the wine pairing, there was no pressure at all for us to take it as an extra, no hard sell whatsoever. Service was very professional. We would definitely go again if we ever were to visit EDR again.
