Fundada en el año de 1929 en la ciudad de Guamúchil, Sinaloa, México por el Sr. Pascual H. Sedano (+) y su esposa la Profa. Manuelita Zamudio de Sedano (+).
Funeraria Sedano inicialmente abrió sus puertas en Guamúchil, Sinaloa y posteriormente, creó dos sucursales que fueron Mocorito y Pericos. Con el paso de los años y el aumento de demanda de estos servicios se crearon nuevos puntos, que fueron: Estación Bamoa, Guasave, Gato de Lara, Sinaloa de Leyva, Los Mochis, Badiraguato, Culiacán y El Fuerte.
Al surgir nuevas necesidades se creó lo que sería Sedano Previsión Funeraria, S.A. de C.V. en 1995 (venta de servicios funerarios a futuro), además se cuenta con servicios de panteón (Parque Funeral Sedano, Guamúchil, Sinaloa).
