AL CHILDREN GARDEN [JUNE 16 - JULY 31, 2022]
For AL CHILDREN GARDEN, Dennis Miranda teamed up with Ludwig Maravilla to co-produce a painting project based on the copyleft ethos. They deployed their creativity and graphic skills onto a body of paintings that weave a magical world where a series of fantasy characters traverse through a spectrum of emotional states that are accented with a funky mix of nature and urban elements.
Both artist's work make justice to the show's title, AL CHILDREN GARDEN, a dual remix of language that hints at the playfulness of kids learning from each other in careless creation. "Al chile" is a Mexico City slang term; similar to "fuck it" / be careless.
