I called to ask information about some models and the sales associates won't help you if you don't have the EXACT model for the watch. Specifically, I asked for the SQUARE G-Shock that can connect with Bluetooth and they just told me that doesn't exist. No model, it just doesn't exist. The reality is that there are like 4 of them: the SQUARE (metal/resin), the Squad and the Glide. If the sales associate had a minimum knowledge or mood to actually help, I guess it's not that hard to come up with this information and ask me which one I'm interested in.
After that, I asked about discounts for Master of G then she says Mudmaster 25% and I ask which one. The sales associate thinks there's only one of these and she never wanted to specify which one. She just kept saying "the Mudmaster" as if that's enough and she just forgot her attitude "no model, it doesn't exist". The reality is that there are at least 2 if not even 3 of these. So acknowledging the total ignorance of the sales associate, I asked about the sensor (twin, triple, quad) and the crystal. The response I got was triple sensor, no sapphire crystal. That indeed doesn't exist. If I'm not mistaken, the GWG-1000 is the only Mudmaster with triple sensor and sapphire crystal so once again I wasn't able to know what model were we talking about.
Finally, the sales associate just decided to stop "helping" me and went silent, then hang up the call and ignoring further questions I had.
Casio: please hire competent and passionate people. The models, features and catalog are really huge and if we don't have a knowledgeable person willing to understand what we want and helps us with appropriate suggestions, then finding and buying a watch by ourselves is more hard than it should be. I guess the sales associates are there to share knowledge and help making the best purchase decision. Sadly that's not the case.
