Graduated 1983 from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics. After a few years working with major accounting firms I grew bored and decided to travel the entire country of Brazil and learn Portuguese. I did this and then lived in Costa Rica to learn Spanish. I was then hired by EMI Odeon Capitol Records as the CFO of the operating company in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I married and my first child was born in Rio before relocating myself and family to Los Angeles where my second child was born. I worked for 22 years in finance and marketing and sales with a multinational company, Swiss Re, spending my last 11 years in sales of reinsurance programs to major insurance companies worldwide. In July of 2016 I retired from the reinsurance industry to focus upon my passion. I have lived on and off in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for 11 years and own several rental (investment) properties in the region. My success and profits have been very important in my ability to retire from corporate America. In short, I fell in love with Puerto Vallarta and am now applying my knowledge and skills to help others realize their dreams in this paradise.
