To begin with, all of our vehicles include full coverage insurance. That's because we prepay for insurance on a yearly basis, therefore our rates are all inclusive. Subsequently yes, there is a deductible and for 5 passenger vehicles the amount can be $10,000 MXN or $12,000 MXN depending of your vehicle of choice. Next, for 7 passenger vehicles is $15,000 MXN. And finally, for 8 passenger vehicles is $18,000 MXN. We take a security deposit off your credit card upon arrival to the office. The deposit depends on the vehicle you get and remains as a hold on your credit card account until the vehicle is returned. So, upon returning the rental car we proceed with payment, then the deposit can be cancelled when paying cash or applied towards the payment of the rental paying with credit.

Approx $50 per day. E-mail reservation & English communication was excellent. Denis met me at an office in the Plaza Marina location (by appointment only) for both car pickup and drop off. It really doesn't get any better! Smooth transaction!

Coming from the states, you rent a car, first time to the area, and lots of unknowns. And it all just goes perfect. Didn't even mess with the big brands, hidden fees, etc. Gecko plays it straight up, no trying to squeeze out every dollar possible. Will only rent with them (unless they suddenly stop being awesome, probably unlikely!)
