Gegründet 1922 in einem Berliner Hinterhof, etablierte sich GEMO schnell als Marktführer im Bereich der biegsamen Wellen. Aufgrund der Besetzung Berlins, wurde ein Teil des Unternehmens in den 50er Jahren nach Krefeld verlagert, wo auch heute noch die Unternehmenszentrale, das GEMO Headquater, und ein Produktionsbetrieb ansässig sind.
Um die weltweiten Kunden schnell mit Produkten beliefern zu können, wurden weitere Fertigungsstätten in Polen, Mexiko und China aufgebaut. Heute sind weltweit rund 650 Mitarbeiter für die GEMO-Gruppe tätig.
Durch den Inhaberwechsel im Jahr 2021 bietet sich für die GEMO-Gruppe auch in Zukunft viel Raum für Entwicklung und Innovation, um den Abnehmern rund um den Globus stets erstklassige Qualität zu liefern.
Wir freuen uns, in diesem Jahr gemeinsam mit der Belegschaft das 100-jährige Bestehen feiern zu können.
