★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check your cards after you fly to make sure no extra payments/charges were made. I was charged $70 bucks twice for something. Called the airline and got it resolved. I was quickly reimbursed but they said that it was confirmed fraudulent activity. Glad it was resolved quickly. Hope the dude was fired. @boondockpatrol P.S.- The airport has the best chilaquiles if you have time to eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I travel to Tampico often and have never had an issue at this airport until this morning when I was trying to catch my flight. A lady named Veronica Gomez was extremely rude. Another family showed up at the same time as we did for the same exact flight, they were let on. But Veronica had the worst attitude with us, asked for my name and said we’re too late for the flight (they weren’t even boarding yet) then proceeded to ask me for documents, and covid test as if she was going to let us on. Didn’t bother picking up my documents and didn’t look at my covid test she just went straight to saying it’s not valid. My husband asked if she can give us a note saying it’s not valid she was rude about that too and refused to give one, I’d understand if she was busy but she wasn’t. It was empty in there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a lot of flights so not a lot of shops. But it's clean, quiet, spacious with WiFi and electric sockets. Only snacks to eat though. The area also doesn't have much.
