★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Creo firmemente que este lugar, el legendario Gimnasio y Baños Lupita, debe preservarse como uno de los templos de la memoria de una de las actividades deportivas que más satisfacciónes han brindado al pueblo de México. El Box. Ya que ahí han entrenado grandes personajes del pugilismo mexicano como son los campeones mundiales Carlos Zárate y Ricardo 'Finito Lopez', así como otros grandes personajes que han pasado por ahí como Mike Tyson y el cantante y actor Javier Solis, oriundo de este barrio. La arquitectura de este lugar de mediados del siglo XX, acusa ya cierta decadencia, por lo que sería fantástico poder recuperar sus aires de edificio MidCentiry. Historia del Barrio y pueblo originario de Tacubaya. Hay que recordar la frase de mi Abuela: "Vaya a donde Vaya no hay como Tacubaya" ??????????????????
