★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After starting here, I can't figure out why this Smart Fit location is so popular. The trainers I have interacted with have been extremely unprofessional, and the place is really cramped, mostly because they have packed far too many machines into a tiny space. The machines also shut off after 30 minutes, even during non-peak hours, which is really annoying if, like me, you chose to get a membership to avoid exercising in the contaminated air outside.
That said, the machines are new and the place is really clean, unlike many gyms in Roma.
Thankfully I got the black membership, so I now exercise mostly at another Smart Fit location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a good place to work out. Nothing fancy though. Aerobic and weightlifting equipment is almost new. It's medium size but watch out because in the afternoon it gets really crowded and I mean REALLY!
The staff is kind and are willing to help you with whatever you need to workout.
If you want to become a gym member but don't want to compromise with excessive fees and perks you don't need, this is the place to be.
Also, as for I can tell about other options, this has the more value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible music always blasting so you can’t even block it out with headphones, and the gym is usually packed. When I politely ask to have the music turned down just a little bit, the person at the front desk argues with me and tells me it’s essential that they blare their awful techno playlist. It’s cheap, but you get what you pay for. there are much better options all around CDMX.
