About Gin Chan

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience! Besides the incredible nigiri, the foie gras sando is a must. Excellent service and the owner / chef is an awesome dude! A top sushi spot in DF.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omakase and sake combo is such a ridiculous value. Would be over $100USD per person in USA.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EDIT: Uno siempre regresa a donde fue feliz ??
I was walking around looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon GIN CHAN, it was a great decision to have dinner here, the fish is so fresh, they get it delivered every day and the menu changes every day.
Totally recommended for anyone in the area looking for a Japanese place.
Plus, the people that run the place are so nice and sweet, made me feel welcomed right away. I’m definitely coming back here.
UPDATE: 2 years later and it still is the best sushi place ever. The quality has not changed and the service is as good as always.
Also on Thursday there’s Ramen Night!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ really good fresh fish but expensive. small menu as it’s mostly a sushi place. got the negi toro maki (very good), spicy tuna rolls (nothing special), sashimi plate 3 types (just alright unless you can pick your fish), nigiri: toro, salmon belly, yellowtail belly, sardine. nigiri pieces were good. definitely coming back to try the grilled sardines. update - had to take a star off bc found a dead fly in my miso soup takeout ?. but friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was our go-to spot for late dinners as we lived close by. Every Thu is a ramen day and they make it different each week but come early as they run out of it quickly. Our seafood ramen was right on point! Good sushi, sashimi and miso soup. Fresh fish and oysters. Likes the service as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding and traditional sushi place. Fresh & high quality fish. You will find here fish not available in many/other high quality sushi restaurants in the city. Examples include salmon toro (only place I’ve found it in the city), tuna toro Kama, and sweet shrimp.
Must try!
Excellent & friendly service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were so happy to find this phenomenal sushi spot in Roma Norte. The quality of the fish is incredible, there is a terrific Omakase menu, and lots of à la carte options for sashimi, nigiri, oysters, and more. There is a great selection of sakes, as well as some nice cocktails. The staff is friendly and talented, and the restaurant has a nice indoor/outdoor vibe.
